Overall Review: Things to keep in mind with this router:ġ) Do NOT install the utility - only the DRIVERS (I'm using Win7圆4 and letting it manage the connection). It could very well be my wireless router or ISP since I do push quite a bit a data through my home network with games, torrents, and streaming HD movies. Once that setting was corrected I immediately connected to my router at 130Mbps and noticed transfer speeds increase to 9MBs (from 2.5MBs). I must have clicked it on accident because I am familiar with the bandwidth restrictions of TKIP. After double checking the settings I realized that my security was set to TKIP instead of AES. The way my house is set up (open floorplan), I am not transmitting through a floor. I am connecting to an Asus RT-N56U (N900) router from an upstairs bedroom, approximately 75 feet away, transmitting through one wall.
